Gyeongbokgung Palace

Gyeongbokgung Palace, is one of the most iconic palaces
in Korea. Construction on Gyeongbokgung Palace was
completed in 1395 at the beginning of the Joseon Dynasty
during the reign of King Taejo. Gyeongbokgung means
“palace greatly blessed by Heaven.” The grounds were
expanded over the years during the reign of King Taejong
and King Sejong the Great.
